Wie zijn wij?

INART was een platform voor culturele activiteiten. 

Bij INART wilden wij een zo breed mogelijk publiek bereiken. Zeker geen elitaire aanpak, integendeel: INART Kunst & Cultuur wilde graag zoveel mogelijk mensen inspireren, confronteren, samenbrengen en laten genieten van een kwalitatief hoogwaardig professioneel aanbod.

Vanaf 2015 waren wij gevestigd aan het Lemsterpad 54 in Lemmer (Friesland). Wij organiseerden gezamenlijk activiteiten en projecten op bijzondere locaties. Als men vragen had of met ons wilde samenwerken, kon men ons mailen. Wij stonden altijd open voor nieuwe projecten.

Ria Groenhof was de initiatiefnemer en kunstenaar van het collectief. In 2011 werd het kunstenaarscollectief opgericht met verschillende kunstenaars, als een platform voor kunst en cultuur, gevestigd in het voormalig postkantoor in het centrum van Lemmer. Wij zijn begonnen vanuit de gedachte dat kunst zichtbaar moest zijn midden in de samenleving, met daarin aandacht voor ons historische en culturele erfgoed. Niet vanuit denken, maar vanuit doen. Wij organiseerden wisselende exposities van hedendaagse kunstenaars en middagconcerten met speciale aandacht voor aankomend talent. Daarnaast was er aandacht voor kunsteducatie voor basisscholen.

Voor mij vallen leven en kunst samen. Kunst is geen afzonderlijk domein, maar een manier om het leven vorm te geven en te begrijpen. Als beeldend kunstenaar ervaar ik kunst als een creatieve vertaling van het bestaan, een uitingsvorm die zich niet beperkt tot één discipline. Zij manifesteert zich evenzeer in muziek, literatuur, dans, theater, mode, architectuur en design als in de beeldende kunst.

INART is a platform for cultural activities.

At INART, we aimed to reach as broad an audience as possible. We deliberately avoided an elitist approach; on the contrary, INART Art & Culture sought to inspire, challenge, bring people together, and allow as many people as possible to enjoy a high-quality professional program.

From 2015 onward, we were based at Lemsterpad 54 in Lemmer, Friesland. We jointly organized activities and projects at special locations. If people had any questions or wished to collaborate with us, they could contact us by email. We were always open to new projects.

Ria Groenhof was the initiator and artist of the collective. In 2011, the artists’ collective was founded with various artists as a platform for art and culture, located in the former post office in the center of Lemmer. We started from the belief that art should be visible within society, with attention to our historical and cultural heritage. Not from thinking, but from doing. We organized rotating exhibitions of contemporary artists and afternoon concerts with special attention to emerging talent. There was also a focus on art education for primary schools.

For me, life and art form a single whole. Art is not a separate domain, but a way of shaping and understanding life. As a visual artist, I experience art as a creative translation of existence, an expression that is not confined to a single discipline. It manifests itself just as much in music, literature, dance, theatre, fashion, architecture, and design as in the visual arts.
